Free Will Baptist students from across the state of Tennessee descended on the campus of Welch College on April 29-30 for the Tennessee State CTS Ministry Expo. Bible competition began the
expo on Friday evening, April 29 at 6:00 pm. The music and arts competition took place on Saturday, April 30 at 9:00 am.
Students, ranging from kindergarten to twelfth grade, competed in 34 Bible events, 27 music events, 7 drama events, and 28 creative arts events. They competed in 96 entries total. A list of winners is available here.
Free Will Baptists across the state of Tennessee should be extremely proud of these students and their hard work.
The state expo also offered two different opportunities for ministry leaders and parents to meet with Jeff Nichols, Tennessee State Director of Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF). Jeff presented ways that churches can partner with CEF in reaching the children in their communities with the message of the Gospel. Special thanks to Welch College and their willingness to host this annual event. Also, this event would not be possible without the many volunteers who gave of their time to judge the various entries during the expo.
Please pray for those students who will be representing the state of Tennessee at the 2022 National CTS Ministry Expo in Birmingham July 24-27. Prayerfully consider encouraging the students in your local church to be involved in the 2023 Tennessee State CTS Ministry Expo.
